Kaab Gluay Thai Restaurant in Patong only serves classic Thai dishes so do not bother going here if you are looking for burger and chips etc. All we can say is the food here is delicious, service is great, and prices are amazing.

This place is more popular with Thai’s than tourists, so this says a lot about its authentic Thai food and great prices. Alcohol is also a good price with a large bottle of Singha costing 110baht – about AU$$4.30.

Kaab Gluay Restaurant is at the northern end of Patong on the corner of Soi Phrabarami 2 and Phrabarami Road which is the road that continues up Patong Hill, the restaurant is not far past the school on the opposite side of the road.

Kaab Gluay has been around for a long time and the restaurant was totally renovated a few years ago.

Between the 4 of us we ordered 6 dishes, 2 desserts, 4 large bottles of Singha and 2 lemon drinks and the total was 1675baht about AU$65.

Most definitely worth a visit
